This summer the programme consists of 3 blocks of 2-week courses. You can combine courses to create a 4 or 6-week programme.

The tuition fee for a two-week course will range between €1000 and €1150. This includes:
- Airport pick-up service
- Course excursions
- Orientation programme
- On-site support
- 24/7 emergency assistance
- A transcript of records after completion of the course
All courses offer at least one excursion. Please see the course descriptions for the exact tuition fee details.
Excluded from the tuition fee are:
- Social programme activities. A great way to get to know your fellow students and experience more of Amsterdam and the Netherlands.
- Costs for housing. Starting at €450 for 14 nights for university campus housing at Uilenstede
- Travel and living expenses such as: plane tickets, public transport costs, food and drinks.
The VU Amsterdam Summer School offers the following discounts:
- Early Bird Discount
Discount of €150 for students that apply and pay before 15 March, 23.59 Central European Time (cannot be combined with the Partner Discount).
- Partner Discount
All students from partner universities from VU Amsterdam are entitled to a €250 discount. You apply for the discount simply by indicating in the online application form that you are currently studying at one of our partner universities (cannot be combined with Early Bird Discount).
- Combination Discount
€100 discount when you apply for 2 courses, €200 when you apply for 3 courses. The Combination Discount will appear automatically in your online application form and is always granted on top of other discounts.
We always give a 100% refund in case your visa gets rejected. We do require a copy of the rejection letter issued by your local embassy. Please be aware it is your own responsibility to make a visa appointment in time. Enquire with your local embassy if it is possible to finalize your application well in time before the start of your course. When time constraints are the reason for not obtaining a visa, we follow the normal cancellation policy.
